My Way has been part of MacIntyre for more than 3 years now. We are a small team who are navigating changes, nationally in the sector and in the lives of the people MacIntyre supports.
You may have heard about our work at Wingrave and Womaston schools where we support young people and their families plan their transition into adult life.
Have you seen us speaking at roadshows about personal budgets and self directed support? We are finding out how personalisation is working across the country and making sure that MacIntyre is at the cutting edge of what’s developing.
We may have worked with you to make sure you have everything you need to give the people we support a hand to move on with their lives. This may be finding somewhere to live, someone to live with, things to do and importantly, making sure that this is within budget.
I hope to be writing to let you know what’s happening nationally around personalisation, the work we are doing as well as some of the choices that people we support are making.
